Adrian Hurtado is a Research Scientist at the Institute for Advanced Computational Science (IACS) at Stony Brook University, where he supports researchers conducting large-scale computational science on AMA27. His research focuses on multiresolution quantum chemistry and the development of applications for simulating molecular response to light using adaptive real-space numerical methods. He is a core developer of molresponse, the response-theory application within the open-source MADNESS framework. His work spans numerical methods, high-performance and parallel computing, and machine learning for scientific software. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stony Brook University.
