Biography
Matthew Jones is Director of the Center for Computational Research at the University at Buffalo, where he has served since 1999. He was appointed Director in 2019 after serving as Associate Director from 2011. His doctorate in physics is from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Research
Computational physics, high-performance computing infrastructure, and resource performance monitoring. Long-standing contributor to the XDMoD project for HPC utilization analysis, and to application-kernel benchmarking of national supercomputing resources.
